Abstract

The experiment was conducted at Centre for Agricultural Biochemistry and Biotechnology (CABB), university of Agriculture Faisalabad. The 15 genotypes were evaluated for heredity. Through 15 primers, 1181 bands were amplified using PCR based identifiers-rapid DNA markers. FSD-2008, KOHISTAN97, 4072, 9021, 9189, 9244, 9272, 9277, 9381, 9428, 9249, 9451, 9452, 9481 and 9476 are the genotypes which were evaluated to check heredity similarities. The elevated number of bands were produced by K7- (88) and lowest by primer 17 that were 16. FSD-2008 and 9481 showed 82% similarities while 9381 and 9249 depicted 81% heredity. Similarly, KOHISTAN-97 and 9277 showed 81% heredity. 88% heredity was found among 4072 and 9021 accessions.
