Abstract

Stevia rebaudiana Bertoni belongs to Asteracea family and contains Steviol glycosides. Due to poor germination ratio there are different techniques used to mass propagation of plant and necessary among these techniques the tissue culture is the most successful technique consider for the micro propagation of Stevia plant as well as the different hormones play an important role in plant development and gene expression in this study effect of CCC hormone was examined in expression of UGT85C2 gene comparing the plants with treated and untreated condition grown in-vitro then through RNA extraction and rt-pcr it was determine the effect of CCC, the expression of gene had increased by particular CCC concentrations when given under different concentration grown in-vitro.
