Abstract
The article provides an assessment of the current state of desert pastures in Uzbekistan, the reasons for the degradation of vegetation cover. The results of research in the field of introduction, selection and seed production of phytomeliorants promising for improving pastures, information on promising varieties and areas of research are presented.
