Abstract

Sideritis scardica Griseb. (Mursalski tea; Pirinski Tea) is an herb growing in the Pirin mountains and the Mursal area of the Rhodopes mountains. The herb grows also in Northern Macedonia and northern region of Greece. In recent years, due to its beneficence, S. scardica Griseb. has increasingly become more utilized. Bulgaria possesses 6.43% of this herbal world wealth. S. scardica is rich in flavonoids. Two Bulgarian researchers, Yaneva and Balabanski as well, have studied their healing properties. The outcomes of their research work have been cited by the European Medicines Agency, document EMA/HMP /39455/2015 Committee on Herbal Medicinal Products (HMPC).

In the present study, comparative spectral analyses have been done, applying the Non-equilibrium energy spectrum (NES) and Differential non-equilibrium energy spectrum (DNES) methods. Spectral analyses are providing information about the parameters related to the effects on nerve conduction and also to anti-inflammatory and anti-tumor effects.

In Bulgaria S. scardica is cultivated in plantations; and it is commonly available in the pharmacies and drugstores. The 2005 Bulgarian Health Act permits herbal usage, generally, in both ways, as free access and/or on prescription.

The aim of the research with methods NES and DNES of more than 10 medicinal plants at λ=8.95 μm as parameter (еV-1) of function of distribution of energy of hydrogen bonds between water molecules to show the result of S. scardica. The effect is connected with increasing of energies of water molecules in blood serum and human longevity.
