Abstract
This article had set the objective to consolidate the literature regarding gummosisand also to find out the trends related to the same. Phytopathologia Mediterranea is one of the productive journals and Systematic and Applied Microbiology is the journal with the highest average citation per publication. The most active and productive country is the USA with the highest number of publications and co-authorship linkages. Brazil is having the highest number of citations and Malaysia is the country with the highest average citations per publications. The most active research organizations are from Poland and Japan, with the highest number of publications and co-authorship links. The most productive organizations are from Italy, with the highest number of total citations and average citations per publication. The most active author is Saniewski M. with the highest number of publications and followed by Cardoso J.E with the highest number of co-authorship links. Wingfield M.J. is the author with the highest number of citations. The most productive author is Mugnai L, with the highest average citation per publication.
