Abstract
This article discusses the improvement of technologies for the cultivation of barley in the Northern Trans-Urals.
Barley is one of the most important food and forage crops grown in the Northern Trans-Urals. However, changes in the structure of grain crops, as well as the introduction of a minimum level of tillage, led to a significant decrease in the phytosanitary status of grain crops.
In this regard, the most important factors limiting the yield of crops such as spring barley are pest damage and susceptibility to disease. Therefore, the study of pests and diseases of barley in order to optimize measures to combat them using various agricultural technologies is an urgent task to increase and stabilize the yield of agricultural crops.
