Abstract

The optimal technological parameters of the isolation of alkaloids and vitamins were studied and established by their extraction from the generative and vegetative biomass of desert plants Peganum Harmala and Climacoptera Lanata, as well as their quantification by thin layer chromatography (TLC).

The search for effective medicines based on natural biologically active substances is one of              the most important tasks of medical and biotechnological science. The resource factor is also associated with the need to search for new highly effective herbal remedies, since in                 modern market conditions the availability of raw materials, along with the pharmacological properties of its biologically active substances, ultimately determine the demand for the         proposed drug. In this regard, the study of modern methods for the production of alkaloids and vitamins contained in the plant biomass of the Peganum harmala and Climacoptera lanata is one of the problems of modern medicine and biotechnology [1,2]. The aim of our research is to              study the biotechnological potential of some species of desert plants by using extraction methods and thin layer chromatography (TLC) to obtain biologically active substances: vitamins and alkaloids.

Keywords: Extraction, extract, thin layer chromatography (TLC), biologically active substances (BAS), alkaloids, vitamins.
