Abstract

An efficient method for direct plantlet regeneration from nodal explants fo Psoralea corylifolia Linn. was investigated. Nodal explants from field grown plants were collected and cultured on Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium with different concentrations of BAP and KIN. Maximum number of multiple shoots was obtained on MS medium containing 0.5 mg/l was found to be best for rooting of shoots. The rooted plantlets were successfully established in the field.
