Learning media plays a very important role in helping students understand and facilitate a course. However, learning media currently used in the écrite intermédiaire course production at the French department at UNIMED has not been satisfying for them; therefore, it is necessary to develop an alternative learning media that meets their needs. The model of the learning media developed in this study is in the form of ebook using FlipHTML5 which is capable of accommodating various types of multimedia tools like texts, images, videos, links, animations etc. It is also accessible online and offline, and never been applied before in this course. This study aims to observe the development process, feasibility, students’ competence and effectiveness of learning media for Écrite intermédiaire course production using FlipHTML5. Type of this research used design & development (D&D) research from Richey & Klein. To measure product effectiveness the pre-post test was conducted on 21 students who studied the Écrite intermédiaire course production. The result shows that there is a significant increase in students’ competencies after they used this learning media. This product has already fulfilled the aspect of feasibility and effectiveness. Therefore, the learning media using FlipHTML5 can give a contribution and improve the students’ competence in the intermediate writing course.
