Abstract

The article proposes an application of the block structure model for the deformation processes using a paradigm of Riemann geometry. The simulation of deformation curves employing the self-organization laws is used to model possible deformation stages. The proposed model is applicable to poly-, mono- and nanocrystalline materials and various practical implications.

Keywords: Block structure, plastic deformation, deformation curves
