Abstract
Many news articles have reported theft of idols, ornaments and cash in the temples, churches and Gurudwaras in India. In this paper we are proposing a system for the thief detection for securing the locker rooms at the religious places. The proposed system is based on saliency detection. Saliency detection can be a good technique for the detection of Intruders in the secure areas. Saliency detection has become a very prominent subject for research in recent time. Many techniques has been defined for the saliency detection. The experimental results are shown in the below.
